Bienvenue à Module de l'Acadie. Our school within a school offers two different programs for the acquisition of the French language within Frontenac Secondary School.
We provide Extended French programming for students of Grade 7 or 8 who have only had either Core French since Grade 4, or students from bilingual programs. French Immersion programming is offered to students who have attended previous Immersion programs from Kindergarten onward. Both programs offer English language instruction in health, science and literacy. All other subjects are taught in French.
We also offer instrumental music and an extensive arts program. We have both intramural sports as well as competitive teams in most sports such as soccer, volleyball and basketball as well as track and field, ultimate frisbee, road racing and touch football. Our co-curricular activities include Student Council, Spectrum Club, Yearbook Club, Choir, Lego-robotics, Mathletes, Choir and Reading Club.
We believe that our purpose is create a community where wellness and achievement are valued and prioritized, in order to meet the unique social, academic, physical and emotional needs of adolescents learning in a French Immersion setting.
